Do not underestimate the power of breast. It could turn out to be a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) as a 30-year-old Hong Kong citizen Ng Lai-ying finds out. Apparently Ms Ng had been taking part in a protest in Yuen Long against Chinese mainlanders visiting Hong Kong to buy cheaper and better quality produce.
A long-running controversial subject in the Chinese territory, a massive influx of millions of Chinese tourists to Hong Kong snapping everything at sight have driven up shop rents and prices. Thanks to 2003 outbreak of SARS, Hong Kong opened up to Chinese to visit as individual travellers rather than the usual organised tour, in a bid to revive its economy.
Hence, during a scuffle with police, Chief Inspector Chan Ka-po had tried to grab her bag, but his hand had landed on her breast instead. She accused the police of indecent assault, but amusingly, he in turn accused her of using her “breast to assault him”. Ms Ng told the Tuen Mun court that she yelled “indecent assault” out of fear immediately after her breast was invaded.
But magistrate Michael Chan Pik-kiu said she “used her female identity to trump up the allegation that the officer had molested” her, declaring such as a malicious act and harming the officer’s reputation (damn the lucky policeman). If being “molested” was not bad enough, now the judge has sentenced clerk Ng Lai-ying to 3 months and 15 days in prison.
WTF! A woman was found guilty of using her boob to bump against the arm of Chief Inspector Chan Ka-po? While she was on bail pending an appeal, around 100 people gathered for a “breast walk” protest outside police headquarters in Wan Chai district, obviously calling such ruling “ridiculous”.
It was quite a sight with men wearing bras while chanted “Breasts are not weapons – give back our breast freedom” and “Shame on police”. A topless male activist wearing a black bra told the crowd – “We better watch out as one day police might accuse us of attacking with our penis or buttock”.
Retired teacher James Hon, 66, wearing a pink bra over his white polo shirt, told AFP: “It’s the first time to wear a bra in my entire life … We have come to this rather odd method to tell the world how ridiculous it is”. Another man told the Post: “The way I dress today looks quite ugly as a male, but it is not as ugly as the judgement, which is like pointing at a deer and calling it a horse.”
Here’s the problem with the judge’s verdict: Will Hong Kong policemen happily grab women’s breast whenever they like from today onwards but claim they’ve been attacked by the females’ boob instead? Most importantly, will there be a spike in cases where women get molested by males but would be powerless to press any charges with the latest ruling?

Feminists have fabricated the incident. She was arrested for setting up a male police officer for sexual assault by deliberately pushing her breast against him and reporting a molestation case. Such a heinous act and people are actually supporting her?
If the police officer was falsely convicted the innocent man would have lost his profession and landed in jail.
False accusers should be punished and Feminists should not support women who falsely accuse men of molestation, as it has serious implications.
