Here’s Why Turkey Could Be Alone In A “Nuclear War” With Russia

Turkey, under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is playing a very lethal game of Russian roulette. Instead of loading a bullet into the chamber of a revolver, spinning the cylinder, and then pulling the trigger while pointing the gun at his own head, Erdoğan pointed the gun at Putin’s head instead. And he shot the Russian supremo’s fighter jet and killed the pilot.

President Putin Warning President Erdogan - A Stab in the Back by the Terrorists Accomplices

Although the life of the Russian pilot means virtually nothing to Vladimir Putin, and the number of death is nowhere near the Paris attacks, the Russian dictator assumes the shot down as an act of war. What really angers Putin was the humiliation that an inferior nation, militarily speaking, such as Turkey was challenging a superior “Mother Russia” for a war.

An egoist Putin was given a slap by an American minion, with a widely perceived lame duck Barack Hussein Obama grinning and laughing at the supposedly invincible Russian president. If Putin is as insane as Adolf Hitler or Saddam Hussein, Russia and Turkey would be at war now. The fact that Russia hasn’t nuked Turkey goes to show that Putin is not insane at all.

Putin is not insane, but he surely is a bully. But hey, the U.S. is also a bully, right? Fortunately, or rather unfortunately, depending on which side you’re on, Putin is a bully with brain. He is a brilliant military strategist, or at least surrounded with battalions of military strategists. After all, he was with KGB for 16 years thus making him a non rhetoric politician but a no-nonsense military man.

Either Erdoğan was too stupid or over confident that the U.S. and NATO are guaranteed to protect Turkey in case of a military retaliation from Russia. Vladimir Putin sits on the world’s second-biggest nuclear arsenal. Whether Russia has secretly produced more nuclear arsenal than United States is everybody’s guess.

Russia Nuclear Arsenal Display

Unlike the era of World War II where only the U.S. knows how to make atomic bomb, Russia can now make nuclear warheads as if they’re making hamburgers. While the once mighty Soviet Union had between 15,000 – 25,000 tactical nukes, the modern day Russian has at least 2,000 tactical nuclear weapons deployed – worldwide.

After deployment of its cutting-edge S-400 air defence system to protect the Russian Hmeimim airbase in Latakia, Syria – a strategic base with the ability to hit Turkey-US Incirlik airbase and British bases in Cyprus – Russia has begun deliveries of its advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Iran, a US$800 million deal made possible thanks to Obama’s lifting of sanctions on Iran.

So, should we stock up on popcorn and Coke to watch World War III? Putin administration would love the world to think the war is possible, and he’s willing to use force to demonstrate that he’s not bluffing. The successful annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation without any serious retaliation from the Western alliance was the best proof that Putin will win a Turkey-Russia war, again.

It’s mind-boggling that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan dares to play a poker game with President Vladimir Putin. How could the Turkish president read into the expressionless Russian president in such game? In fact, Russia has challenged NATO for a nuclear war with the deployment of its “invincible” Ilyushin Il-80 Maxdome “flying command centre”.

Russia Doomsday Plane - President Vladimir Putin

Called the “doomsday plane” by the Pentagon, United States was the only country in the world to possess a command centre of this kind. It carries the president, senior generals, staff officers as well as a crew of technicians capable of managing and distributing tasks to all units of Russia’s armed forces – ground forces, aerospace forces, navy and strategic missile forces.

The annexation of Crimea and the Paris attacks should be the best proof for Turkey that in an event of a war with Russia, Obama administration would rather go for some rounds of golf than to come to its aid. Middle-East is merely a playground for the U.S. and even if Putin goes bonkers by nuking Ankara, the Americans won’t risk New York for Turkey.

Paris Attacks by ISIS Terrorists - France At War But Obama Doesn't Care

Sure, Erdoğan can invoke Article 5 of the 1949 North Atlantic Treaty, which created the NATO alliance, for all he wants. Barack Obama will not risk declaring a full blown war with Russia; hence NATO is as good as “No Action Talk Only”. By the time the golfer-in-chief could finish drafting his rhetoric speech to condemn Russia, it’s already game-over for Turkey.

Even if somehow Obama found his (golf) balls to strike Moscow, Putin could easily launch R-36 – called “SS-18 Satan” by the Pentagon and NATO – a missile that carries 10 warheads (each having a force of 750 to 1000 kiloton) or 1 “secret” 20,000 kiloton warhead – capable of destroying an area the size of the New York state. That’s roughly 1,333 times Hiroshima.

Hiroshima Atom Bomb Dropping

It doesn’t help that 80% of the American population resides on the eastern and western seaboards, while the Russian population are dispersed widely across the country. What this means is Vladimir Putin needs fewer “well-aimed” nuclear missiles than Barack Hussein Obama to wipe out each other’s human life. Heck, the U.S. may surrender before the second round of nuclear strikes from Russia could take place.

There’s only one option from Russian defence analysts and advisers for Vladimir Putin in a war with NATO if he wants to win – by going nuclear. What Putin needs to do is to start dropping nuclear bombs on the Turkish capital of Istanbul, killing over 9-million people in the process. The rest of the NATO members would be trembling in fear, begging for diplomatic solutions with Putin.

Turkey-Russia Nuclear War

So, while a World War III may not happen, at least not yet, a war between Turkey and Russia with the prospect of nuclear bombs being unleashed on Turkey is very real. Turkey is as strong as a united NATO and United States behind it. So far, we’re not seeing that coming because the U.S. and other NATO countries are busy with domestic terrorist attacks.
