When Pharaoh Hosni Mubarak was overthrown from his kingdom after 30-years of iron-fist rule, his fortune was estimated at somewhere between US$40 billion and US$70 billion. In terms of earnings (corruption) per year, that was more than US$1 billion to US$2 billion, perhaps the most profitable job on earth. In comparison, Forbes 2011 official richest man, Mexican Carlos Slim was worth $74 billion, Microsoft Corp.’s Bill Gates was worth $59 billion while Warren Buffett was worth $39 billion.

In 1992, once Philippine’s powerful and dictator Ferdinand Marcos’s wife, Imelda Marcos couldn’t hide the pressure (or seeking publicity?) and claimed that her fortune came from Yamashita’s Gold – a staggering 7,500 tons of gold. The booty was estimated to be as much as $3 billion at 1940 rates, and is worth well above $100 billion today. Even when the dictator fled in a hurry in 1986, the U.S. Customs agents found 24 suitcases of gold bricks and diamond jewellery hidden in diaper bags. Marcos was easily the richest dictator during his 20-year ruling Philippine, at least during his era.

Dictators Topped Ben Ali, Mubarak, Gaddafi

Mahathir Mohamad, the former Malaysian Prime Minister who ruled the country for 22 years from 1981 to 2003, was another dictator whose fortune was speculated to be in the billions. We may not know the exact figure but the fortune can never be lower than what Mubarak had amassed so anything between $50 billion to $100 billion is conservative figure. Now, before your jaw drops, the just captured-humiliated-shot-dead dictator from Libya, Gaddafi, was reported to be worth a mind-boggling US$200 billion (*whoa*) – instantly put the past dictators, Marcos, Mubarak and Mahathir to the hall of shame.

Col Gaddafi’s $200 billion in fortune was in the form of bank accounts, real estates, corporate investments, hidden cash, gold reserves and whatnot. If this figure is proven accurate, Gaddafi was indeed a genius the only dictator who ripped off about $4.76 billion per year over a period of 42-year-rule. Obama administration quickly froze about $37 billion in Libyan regime accounts last spring, after they were stunned by the huge amount of discovery. Already, governments in France, Italy, and England Germany had seized control of another $30 billion. Investigators estimates that Gaddafi had also stash another $30 billion elsewhere around the globe. That’s a total of about $100 billion alone, mind you.

Gaddafi Death 1942 to 2011

However, Gaddafi was said to have secretly sent tens of billions abroad for many years while making investments in nearly every major country you can possibly think of, from Middle East to Southeast Asia. Although most of the money was under the name of government institutions such as the Central Bank of Libya, the Libyan Investment Authority, the Libyan Foreign Bank, the Libyan National Oil Corp., Gaddafi and his family members could access any of the money if they desire. This raise the question of why was Gaddafi was so stupid as not to flee Libya earlier, just like how Marcos fled Philippines.

In fact, Gaddafi was so rich that he parked a personal fund of €1.3 billion alone with Caixa Geral de Depósitos, about 2% of the Portuguese bank. Known as Gaddafi Incorporated, Gaddafi family’s tentacles are everywhere from oil and gas sector, telecommunications, infrastructure development, hotels, media distribution, to consumer goods distribution and whatnot. Gaddafi often “speaks out publicly against government corruption” but at the same time distributing fortunes and granting direct access to lucrative business deals to his family members and other elite group. Gee, doesn’t this sounds like the same SOP that the present Malaysian government is adopting?

Gaddafi Dead Body

However, if there’s one mistake that Gaddafi had made resulting in his death, that is he was probably too greedy in his attempt to stay as long as possible in Libya to take all his fortunes out (instead of taking the first flight out) or hoping to win the war against the his own people. In the end, not only his corpse is decaying without a timely burial as demanded by Islamic law, a video was also released in what appears to be a person inserting a thin piece of wood inside Gaddafi’s bottom (sodomized). Heck, there was actually a spectacular of people queuing to view the decaying body of Gaddafi despite the stench, but few Libyans were troubled by the public display.

Gaddafi Death Libyan People Visiting Decaying Corpse

That was how much the people hate the brutal dictator Gaddafi. From the moment of his capture to the moment he was shot dead on his head to his body awaiting a proper burial, Libyan people who were subject to his 42-year of brutality actually do not mind about humiliating Gaddafi a single bit, and that speaks volume. Besides sending a strong message to the remaining dictators in the Middle East, will other dictators elsewhere such as those walking the corridors of powers in Malaysia receive such message with trembles? A of now, Gaddafi is the undisputed King of Kings, as far as nation fortune plundering is concerned.

sure or not, looks like fairy tale

just received the following forwarded by a friend, don’t know how true it is;

GADDAFI IS DEAD ! TODAYS HOT NEWS !

EVEN IF ALL THESE ARE TRUE, THE LOSS OF EVEN 1 LIFE THROUGH INJUSTICE, WILL NEGATE ALL THE GOOD THAT HE DID !

“OF WHAT USE IS IT TO A MAN, IF HE GAINETH THE WORLD, BUT LOSES HIS OWN SOUL ! ”

HOW MUCH OF THIS IS TRUE?

The international media, influenced by the Americans, has successfully painted Gaddafi as a hard-core dictator, tyrant or whatever you want to call him. However, the media as usual has also failed to show the kind, giving Gaddafi we never heard of. Gaddafi unlike most dictators has managed to show his humane side, the very side we dream of seeing in other dictators. I consider Libyans lucky to a certain extent and one wonders with the new democratic rule they cry for will it improve or worsen life for them. Yes, Gaddafi has spent millions of Libya`s money on personal ventures but is the average Libyan poor? We know others who take a country and destroy it until you feel like there is no hope of restoring this country… looting some prefer to call it. Did Gaddafi loot Libya in any way?

Now let us get to the unknown facts about the Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi:

1. There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free for all its citizens.
2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law.
3. Home considered a human right in Libya – Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent.
4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family.

5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%.
6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms – all for free.
7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance.
8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price.
9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 per liter.
10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally.

Great Man-Made River project in Libya… $27 billion

11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is not employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.
13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US$5,000
14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15
15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree
16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.

Which other dictator has done so much good for his people?

CERTAINLY NOT MAHATHIR !

Best Regards,

All of us, without exception, owe it to ourselves to research thoroughly all the supposed news fed to us by the MSM.

The truth might just shock you.

Just saying.

Namaste

Yes all that you say is true. But many Third World governments also provide such assistance from sperm to toumb. But unfortunately the law of finance dictates that no state has the financial resources to provide such assistance to all the citizens. Thus such assistance as listed HK Tan can only be provided for certain groups. And again by the laws of political leadership dictates that such assistance is only provided to one group at the expense of others. That is why the people of Benghazi took up arms.

’Our Muslim Leaders’ are not cheap; they are an expensive, very expensive, commodity in the world market. They are worth more than all the gold of the Middle East and Africa. But only one Superpower keeps them in its pocket!

Just look at the oddities in this changing list. Brother Qaddafi of Libya, Brother Saleh of Yemen, Zionist Brother Mubarak of Egypt, Brother Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Uncle Hussain and his son ‘His Majersty’ (not a Brother!) Abdullah from Jordan, Assad from Syria, Karzai from Afghanistan, the late Benazir Bhutto, her husband Zardari, Gen. Zia and Gen. Musharraf from Pakistan, etc. etc. are some of the obvious examples from recent history.
