European Union is cracking and will disintegrate if France’s National Front leader – Marine Le Pen – could pull an unexpected victory to become the nation’s next president. When that happens; Britain, United States and France would be leading the world’s populism and nationalism while liberalism and globalism would experience a slow death.
More importantly, history will remember Germany, under Chancellor Angela Merkel, as the culprit who brought down the EU. However, as much as Germany welcomes and adores Muslim refugees / migrants, there’s one thing they cannot accept – child marriages. The mass refugee influx also brings in married couples where one or both partners were aged under 18.
Yesterday, Germany’s cabinet agrees to implement a new law, set to receive parliamentary approval by July, banning child marriages – made popular by the Muslim refugees flocking to the country. Foreign marriages, including those of refugees / migrants, involving spouses under 16 are considered invalid, and those involving 16 or 17-year-olds can be annulled by family courts.
It appears that while Germany is extremely obsessed to leapfrog the country as a role model of a multiculturalism nation in Europe, to the extent that they can tolerate domestic terror attacks and mass molests and rapes, there’s a red line that they will not cross. They cannot accept child marriages after seeing brides younger than 14 arrive in their country. It was simply too disgusting.
But 6,000 miles (9,800-km) away in Malaysia, a self-proclaimed the most moderate Muslim-majority country in the world, the reverse is true. Shabudin Yahaya, a Malaysian MP of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition, believes that there is “nothing wrong” with child marriages. In fact, he thinks marriages between rapists and their victims is a jolly good solution.
As opposition proposed in Parliament to amend the Sexual Offences Against Children bill to include a ban on child marriages, the MP rejected, arguing that girls as young as nine were “physically and spiritually” ready for marriage. Most of Shabudin’s colleagues have kept an elegant silence, suggesting that Najib administration somehow agrees to the disgusting practice.
During a debate on the bill, Mr. Shabudin said – “They reach puberty at the age of nine or 12. And at that time, their body is already akin to them being 18 years old. So physically and spiritually, it is not a barrier for the girl to marry.” To add salt to the wound, he has even suggested that if a rape victim married her rapist she would then not face a “bleak future”.
Shabudin said he rejected the motion to ban child marriages as it was contrary to provisions in shariah law. In order to avoid prosecution, apparently rapists have been marrying their victims. Clearly, Mr Shabudin is encouraging Muslim rapists to rape underage girls as they can always escape prosecution, whenever they get caught, using the loophole under the shariah law.
The worse part is MP Shabudin Yahaya was actually a Syariah Court judge. The fact that a former Syariah Court judge has no problem with a Standard 3 (Primary 3) student to be married off to her rapist speaks volumes about how sickening Najib administration is. In the name of Shariah Law, PM Najib has literally thrown the country under the bus.
Reuters reported last year that most complaints of child sexual abuse in Malaysia do not lead to successful prosecutions, largely due to weaknesses in the criminal justice system. With judges like Shabudin Yahaya, that would explain why sex offenders could easily get away scot free. Perhaps this also explains why Malay-Muslims dominate the chart in incest, rape and paedophilia.
Before you scream racist, in 2013 there were over 3,000 cases of rape and incest reported, of which 1,424 directly involved rapes. A whopping 90% of these rape cases involved underage girls. The majority (71.1%) of perpetrators of these crimes came from low socio-economic rural environments, especially from FELDA areas – dominated by Malay-Muslims.
According to the Parliament report, Malays committed 66.3% of reported rape cases where 82% were over 50 years old and the victims were under 16 years old. This followed by 15.3% by “others”, who are natives of Sabah and Sarawak and foreign workers comprising mainly Indonesians. Chinese are the perpetrators in 10.5% of the cases and Indians in the remaining 7.8%.
Zaman Khan, a former prison department director-general, once asked a father why he had raped his own daughter. The man simply replied – “As a father, I had planted the seed before my child was born. Thus I am rightfully the person to taste the fruit before anybody else.” Perhaps MP Shabudin Yahaya is pro-rapist because he possesses such mentality too – ownership over children.
It would be interesting to see if Mr. Shabudin would give his blessing to her underage daughter or granddaughter’s rapist for a marriage. Still, his genius solution invites more questions than answers. What if the rapist is a serial rapist? As a former Syariah Court judge, what does he plan to do with the fifth victim since a Malay-Muslim can only have maximum four wives?
Will a pervert Shabudin also suggest that Syariah Court allows the rapist to cherry-pick the first three youngest, sexiest and prettiest wives and divorce the fourth so that he can marry the underage girl he had raped? That would lead to another question – what if a 9-year-old innocent child was gang-raped. Must the rapists now play rock, paper and scissor game to decide the lucky winner?
To be more dramatic, what if a 9-year-old “non-Muslim girl” is raped by a Muslim rapist? Shariah law doesn’t apply to non-Muslim so in such case, would the Muslim rapist hit jackpot and get away scot free, therefore, opening a floodgate of wild sex party for Muslim rapists to freely rape underage non-Muslim girls until the kingdom comes?
In the same breath, what if a 9-year-old Muslim girl is raped by a “non-Muslim rapist”? Again, Shariah law doesn’t apply to non-Muslim so in such case, would the non-Muslim rapist hit jackpot and armed with the “license to rape”, allowed picking and raping of any underage Muslim girls on the street? Or must the non-Muslims – victims or culprits – be converted to Islam and punished (or rather rewarded) accordingly?
Now, can you see how giving absolute power to idiots and perverts like Shabudin Yahaya in running Shariah court is a disaster? They run the court as if it was a wild orgy sex party where all the girls – old or young – are for grabs. Do you also see how non-Muslims would eventually be forced, dragged and subjected to Shariah law too, if Hudud Law is not stopped?
In Germany, the government says they must not tolerate any marriages that harm minors in their development. In Malaysia, the government says they must tolerate child marriages in order not to harm the rapists’ future. In Germany, the underage must be protected as much as possible. In Malaysia, the rapists must be protected as much as possible.
In Germany, the age of consent for all marriages will be raised from 16 to 18 years. In Malaysia, the age of consent for all marriages is, errr, open to market rate. As long as the rapist is willing to marry the girl he had raped, even a baby can be married off. That’s how disgusting Najib administration is, if the scumbag Shabudin Yahaya is not fired!
