Mahathir Mohamad exposed in early April how his former most trusted lieutenant, Muhyiddin Yassin, had met him with the shameful intention of seeking his support to become prime minister again. However, Mahathir publicly said it was impossible for both of them to work together again, especially after Muhyiddin’s betrayal during the “Sheraton Move” coup, which led to the old man’s resignation.
However, Mahathir cunningly left the option open when he also said that his party, Pejuang (Homeland Fighters’ Party), has yet to decide on whether to work with Muhyiddin, who is the president of Bersatu (Malaysian United Indigenous Party). They formed Bersatu together in 2017, but Mahathir was sacked as the party chairman, along with three other MPs after Muhyiddin’s betrayal.
After Mahathir’s revelation, opposition de-facto leader Anwar Ibrahim said he too had met with Muhyiddin. But Anwar said there were no discussions about supporting Muhyiddin as a PM again. PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution, however, said the Opposition Pakatan Harapan was prepared to negotiate and discuss with any political party about cooperation in the upcoming general election.
Likewise, DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu (popularly known as Mat Sabu) said their respective parties would not work with Bersatu, let alone extremist Islamist party PAS, as the two parties’ leaders cannot be trusted. Mat Sabu even said there was no way that Pakatan Harapan would work with “traitors” who betrayed the people’s mandate.
However, not long after Mr Lim and Mat Sabu rejections to any sort of cooperation with former PM Muhyiddin and Taliban Hadi Awang, their deputies – either ignorantly or deliberately – issued contradictory statements. Amanah deputy president, Salahuddin Ayub, disagreed with his boss and said Bersatu and PAS should not be automatically excluded from Pakatan’s “big tent” concept.
Statements from DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook were more confusing. First, he said the issue of cooperation between Pakatan Harapan and Bersatu did not arise as Perikatan Nasional is still part of the ruling government. Then, the genius Loke said any cooperation between Pakatan Harapan and Bersatu can only happen if all the coalition’s component parties agree to it.
Does that mean the moment Prime Minister Ismail Sabri dissolves the parliament, DAP will rush to cooperate with Bersatu because there would be no government anymore? But if it’s true that the Democratic Action Party has already decided that it cannot work with the traitors come rain or shine, why did Mr Loke vaguely suggest that cooperation is still possible?
Exactly why can’t the newly crowned DAP secretary-general just say Bersatu traitors should stop dreaming about getting any support from the Democratic Action Party, consistent with Lim Guan Eng’s stance? Diplomatically and sarcastically, Anthony Loke should have said that both PKR and Amanah can do whatever they want, but DAP has principles, integrity and dignity and will not be part of the orgy party.
If Mahathir can still work together with the same man who backstabbed and betrayed him, then he has lost his moral ground to talk about fighting corruption and sending crooked Najib to jail. After all, it was the power-crazy Muhyiddin who interfered and dropped all 46 criminal charges against former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman, as well as Najib stepson Riza Aziz.
If Anwar can still work together with the same man who had not only betrayed his party, but stole the post of prime minister from under his nose, then he is stupider than he looks and deserves to be humiliated as the world’s longest PM-in-waiting. After all, if he can be easily tricked and fooled – repetitively, chances are he is not a good prime ministerial candidate.
Get real, another half-baked reunion will not work simply because of distrust and bad blood among Pejuang, Bersatu, PAS, PKR, Amanah and DAP. It’s already a non-starter when a simple question is raised – who will be the next prime minister if they somehow win the 15th General Election? Mahathir (or his son Mukhriz), Anwar and Muhyiddin all wanted the same trophy.
Next is the question of seat allocation. Let’s assume Pakatan Harapan, consisting of PKR, DAP and Amanah, agreed to let bygones be bygones and work again with Bersatu just like the good old time before the 2018 General Election. Will they be satisfied with the previous seat arrangement (the easiest formula based on time restriction) and welcome despicable traitors like Azmin Ali and Zuraida Kamaruddin?
In 2018, PKR (People’s Justice Party) won 47 seats, while DAP (Democratic Action Party) grabbed 42 and Amanah (National Trust Party) got 11. Bersatu, under the leadership of Mahathir, took 13 seats, allowing the four political parties to win a simple majority of 113 seats in the 222-seat Parliament. Again, let’s assume they could win back the same seats, which they absolutely can’t.
What can PKR, Amanah and DAP do if Muhyiddin pulls another betrayal stunt, plotting again with PAS and UMNO to form yet another backdoor regime under the pretext of a “Malay-Muslim” government? The old script will be played again to stir up racial and religion sentiments among the Malays that the Muslims and Malay Rulers have lost power to the “Chinese, Christians and Communists”.
Even if a Pakatan Harapan 2.0 government could be formed, does DAP really think it could get back the finance minister portfolio? After the disastrous results in the Sabah, Sarawak, Melaka and Johor state elections, where PKR won only 2 seats, 0 seats, 0 seats and 1 seat respectively, does Anwar really think he could win even half of his party’s current 47 seats in the parliament after the next election?
Likewise, Mahathir should be certified as “senile” if the 96-year-old man really thinks he’s still a force to be reckoned with. The God probably wanted him to be alive to see how his party Pejuang annihilated in the Johor state election, where all the 42 candidates lost their deposits. And does Muhyiddin really think Chinese voters will easily forgive and forget his treachery and treasonous?
Pejuang, PKR and Amanah may pretend that nothing had happened to convince their Malay supporters to forgive and forget what Muhyiddin had done for the sake of Malay unity, Islamic teaching and whatnot. Mahathir, Muhyiddin and Anwar may even try to hug and kiss each other in front of the world to project unity in their crusade to stop Najib Razak and Zahid Hamidi.
However, DAP should realize that not all the Chinese voters are equally stupid and gullible. When Muhyiddin betrayed his own government – the democratically elected Pakatan Harapan government – by plotting with UMNO and PAS, he effectively crossed the “red line” despised by the Chinese community. For DAP to accept Muhyiddin is asking the Chinese community to embrace the traitor.
There’s a reason why Chinese education teaches students about past traitors in the history of China. In the 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, they have seen not only how traitors caused the fall of dynasties like the Song, Tang and Ming, but also saw the lost of tens of millions of lives due to treachery. Every student knew Wu Sangui (吴三桂), the Ming and Qing general who betrayed two successive dynasties.
In the same breath, “God of War” General Guan Yu is being worshipped for his loyalty, bravery, righteousness and credibility, some qualities that are rarely taught in national schools. This also partly explains why Chinese businesses tend to succeed, while Mahathir kept whining and bitching how Malay workers stole money from his bakery shop, “The Loaf”, which eventually closed down after 12 years in business.
Hence, the factions between English-educated and Chinese-educated leaders in DAP. Even after the “Sheraton Move” coup, some of English-educated DAP leaders can accept the idea of working again with Bersatu traitors just to get back to power, whereas majority of the Chinese-educated leaders prefer to remain as opposition than being betrayed again.
When DAP central committee member Ronnie Liu said the party should not degrade itself just to gain Malay support and did not have to “dilute its Chineseness” just because of criticism from political enemies, he was not entirely wrong. Like it or not, the majority of the Malays have been brainwashed by UMNO Malay leaders for more than 60 years to be racist.
You just need to read the comments from the Malays after Sam Ke Ting’s acquittal was suspiciously reversed by the High Court for accidentally killed some Malay “bicycle gang” teenagers, who terrorized main road with “basikal lajak (modified bicycles)” at 3:20am in 2017. Most of the comments refused to argue with facts, but looked at Sam’s conviction from a racial lens.
DAP should also be reminded that the Chinese are still mad and furious over the MOU signed with the racist government, which saw opposition Pakatan Harapan voted to pass the Budget 2022. Despite a monstrous RM332.1 billion budget, the budget had discriminatory and unfairly allocated a pathetic RM200 million for the ethnic Chinese and RM145 million for the Indian community.
The loss of Yong Peng to rival MCA (Malaysia Chinese Association) in the Johor state election is proof of self-inflicted damage from the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). In order not to offend the sensitive ethnic Malay, DAP has been zipping its mouth since Pakatan’s collapse in March 2020. Yet, the strategy to appease the Malays has failed to attract any new votes from them.
Worse, the recent Johor state election results showed that majority of Malays would rather support a crook (Najib Razak) or a traitor (Muhyiddin Yassin) than a liberal Malay leader (Anwar Ibrahim). The only time the Malays can accept DAP is when the Chinese-dominated party is 90% controlled or infiltrated by Malay leaders. Malaysian Malaysia is a wishful thinking, which is probably centuries away.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush – DAP should stop chasing the bird in the bush (Malay) while risking losing loyal Chinese voters. True, politics is the art of the impossible, but in the context of rivalry between Bersatu and UMNO, the enemy of DAP’s enemy is not its friend. All the Malay parties – UMNO, Pejuang, Bersatu, PAS – are fighting for Malay voters, and desperately needed the Chinese votes.
Therefore, DAP’s best and only strategy is to aim to become a strong opposition party with dignity and principles. It should go solo if PKR and Amanah veto its decision not to work with Bersatu. It should reject the madness of going to bed with the traitors again because unlike PKR’s obsession to make Anwar the next PM, DAP’s objective is different and its role in a government will be limited anyway.
The big canopy concept is silly at best and stupid at worst. Even the acceptance of Mahathir into the opposition Pakatan Harapan in 2017 happened some 14 years after the former PM’s 22 years of iron-fist rule (1981-2003). If people need 14 years to give a second chance to a dictator, certainly more time is needed to recover from a disgusting treachery exploded just 2 years ago.
Going back to the old principled DAP might not win enough seats to form a government, but stubbornly bulldozing the idea of holding hands of the traitors will surely lose a big chunk of the 42 seats it won in 2018. It should not touch the toxic Bersatu or PAS with a 10-foot pole. It’s not rocket science that you don’t work with a power-crazy man whose middle name is betrayal.
Let PKR and Amanah dig their own graves if they want to sleep with the traitors. The only reason Muhyiddin desperately wanted to work with Pakatan is to leverage on DAP’s Chinese vote bank. DAP should not become a prostitute like PAS for the lust of power. It should not become the next MCA, the lapdog of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO).
More importantly, DAP’s top priority is to maintain its 42 seats, which can only happen if it does not lose any of the 90% Chinese votes it had won. Only then it could hope to be part of a government. It will be a miracle if PKR-Bersatu cooperation works. It will be a bonus if PKR-Bersatu could attract support from rural Malay voters. Either way, cooperation with Bersatu will come at a price.

A great piece of write-up to whine and bitch about the wrongs of Malaysian politics …. the usual, typical, complain! complain! complain!
So, what is your solution in order to put the right people, right team into the next Malaysian government? I don’t see you proposing any solution?
You say that “DAP’s best and only strategy is to aim to become a strong opposition party with dignity and principles.” What real change can DAP make to the country and people as an “opposition”?
Can DAP formulate and implement government policies as an “opposition”? Complaining and opposing alone does NOT produce real results that benefit the people, in case you have not noticed!
It is ironic that you talk about Wu Sangui and Guan Yu of the Chinese history. Both are at the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of dignity and principles. Both died horribly without achieving anything that they initial sought for. Both are losers!!!
Politics is the art of impossible. Your enemy today may be your ally tomorrow. Just keep your head and focus on the ultimate objective, not let your emotions get in the way.
Thank you for keep coming here to get a dose of our bitching every day.
It’s not our problem if you’re too dumb to read the solution despite our long-winded article.
The malays would never again share their power base with Dap in case you still don’t know. Let them bark along the sidelines as they have done ages ago, that’ the only thing they are good at.
Principles, integrity and dignity are precisely qualities the so-called opposition haven’t got.
In fact our bunches of wretched shifty sneaky and despicable monkeys have never much by way of any quality. If we ignore the continuous and poisonous drivel the “opposition” has constantly been spouting, the treacherous and filthy clown monkeys are not much different from those monkeys in the various gomens through the decades. We won’t be shocked to discover all along the “opposition” has been bought by those in gomen to fake that there is a opposition in Malaisesia. These days there is the entrenchment of the trend brought into fashion by the morally and ethically bankrupt “opposition” of sleeping with the enemy – a chance to be a few nobodies in gomen and masturbate at the slightest whiff of power is enough for our slimey toads to sell their mothers and children for a few cents.
To make things worse, it has been revealed by their foreign masters those in our “opposition” have actually been servile stooges for foreign countries, particularly the US. Rather than making immediate and fast moves to make civil liberties for our people a reality soon as they became gomen – which would have helped the “opposition” too (as later events showed), our “opposition” dashed off to cancel contracts made with China to ingratiate to their Yank massahs. The “reason” was that the contracts were “debt traps” which the “opposition” and its zombie idol the Snake Pharaoh M for Memali Monster couldn’t prove one bit when he postured as “world statesman” to lecture to the Chinese.
While the foreign masters waxed lyrically about what good stooges the “opposition” was about serving the interests of the West, China simply cut loose its involvement with Malaisesia – not without fcuking the Memali Monster in his arse as China reaped the penalties for Malaisesia breaking the contracts. Not just that, the compensation China got was huge – and all for doing exactly nothing!
After Ketuanan Cina told the “opposition” bunch in gomen to fcuk off, the Chinese further rewarded our fcuking monkeys with cutting down their purchase of palm oil – and even durians. Shortly after getting fcuked for that and Malaisesians having to drink the vast quantities of unsold palm oil five times a day, our “opposition” monkeys realised they had to crawl back to China to revive the contracts!
The Lim Lynasty and the DAP are done for, finished!
For a start it had – and still has the cotton-pickin’ pig-brain stupid idea of winning over Malays to its fold. Few Malays would warm to a party like the DAP which depends on the Chinese vote by playing up Chinese chauvinism, not to deny sheer racism ingrained deep among many Chinese. This has always been the case, and the DAP has always been too terrified to tell its Chinese voter base to become just a little bit more decent and civilised in its attitude to other races (let’s be honest, the Chinese are just as racist to the Indians, natives – and everybody else).
With the Lim Lynasty and its favourite party ccokscukers wafting around to ooze their love for
especially the Malays and demonstrating they are more Malay than the Malays, the utter fraud of the cheap ploy is nothing but hypocritical, disingenuous, dishonest, and ridiculous. It is utterly contemptuous to think the Malays are stupid enough to be won over by the DAP’s cheap ploys, the most famous wan of which is dressing up as Malay Muslims in the DAP PR photoshoots. The other is grovelling at the devil’s hooves of the Memali Monster and fawning at their blackish brown zombie idol.
Making “Malaisesians” a race as the DAP does does not cut it with the Malays. And not all that many Chinese are hard up to call themselves “Malaisiesian”. In Sabah and Sarawak they (including even a fair number of Malays) actually prefer Malaya to fcuk off from their lives and shove their “Malaisesia” up their butt-holes.
Btw, it is contemptuous of Islam to dress up as Muslims when you are kaffirs (Christians, for instance), Muslim scripture explicitly forbids non-Muslims from wearing Muslim attire. The fraud squad of the DAP should know loads better than to impress the Muslims by insulting them in the DAP’s shallow attempt to con the Muslims at times in the worst place there is for fraud – the mosques!
For its Chinese supporters, the foul detestable and loathsome pond life of Tokong Lim Khat Siang, and Atuk’s goofy grandson Josef StaLim Guano Eng, plus the DAP Playmates at the devil’s hooves of the zombie Pharaoh they so idolise have got to take the biscuit for insulting their Chinese sheep supporters. The moron Chinese supporters from the ignorant peasantry would definitely proudly grab the free biscuits… A tidy number of Chinese actually hate the Snake Pharaoh more than Najib. Ganged up with those Chinese who have grown to hate the Snake Pharaoh after the collapse of PH, there is a sizeable number of Chinese who would next vote against the DAP to teach it a lesson for the tokongs’ sellout of the Chinese, recent election results showed the Chinese voting against the DAP messing about with the Chinese.
To be frank, the Chinese voters of the DAP collectively lost its face with the treacherous and two-faced behaviour of the DAP. For over half a century, the DAP’s supporters were riled up and led by their nose to be against the Snake Pharaoh M for Memali Monster. The scum total of the Tokong Khat Siang’s lifetime output were all about the corruption and dictatorial excesses of the Snake Pharaoh. One dark day, the tokong Khat decided to swallow back all his spit against the zombie Snake, turned the vile piece of shiite into an object of reverence! And, as their luck and grand stupidity would have it, Khat Siang and Atuk’s grandson set up their Chinese supporters to be arse-phcuked by the Memali Monster, thank you very much!
Maybe it’s a change this time, the Tokong Khat sets up their Chinese sheep to be lucky and arse-phcuked by Najib. The Tokong with his divine or devious power can “forgive” the Snake Pharaoh’s sins and crimes to Malaisesians, he can do same for Najib, throw in a free forgiveness for Rosmah plus two free gifts. In case that fails, the kiasu supporters of the DAP have always got Anwar, anyway.
Anwar is similar to Tokong Khat, a treacherous and slimey political operator. Anwar is just as unworthy of any vote or any attention at all. As shifty a double-headed double-dealing Memali Monster, Anwar’s history is nothing than a sordid record of lies and sneaky and treacherous and shameless behaviour. Like the Snake Pharaoh, Anwar is headed for the political and other graveyard regardless, he’s a political relic, antique with no value, and his health (and age) is not up to it. Anwar has a bad back caused by decades of shouldering the big pile of evidence against his erstwhile mentor the Memali Monster – and from carrying the huge pile of big books he read while in prison, on a suitable fine day his back will play up – as Anwar the neocon stooge plays out the country and his mentor grandmother whom he said taught him morals, wtf!
While Khat may wish Atuk’s grandson become PM one day, Anwar thinks that position has been ordained by Heaven and his wife the crying nun for their self-appointed “God’s gift to Malaysia” something forced on lucky Malaisesians.
As a perpetual loser and as another snake, no one should pay any attention to that “God’s gift to Malaysia”. Anwar is the Alamighty’s curse on Malaysia and Anwar himself. Does the PKR exist only for this Himmler to the Snake Pharaoh Hitler? If the Chinese vote Anwar into power, we’ll see another similar episode as the Memali Monster arse-phcuks the DAP and its supporters. And when convenient Anwar is just as racist or even more to the Chinese as the Memali Monster. In his best times and best role, Anwar was Himmler to our blackish-brown Hitler snake.
Anwar has shown his colour (sh*t brown) as a devious operator, and every bit as treacherous as the antique zombie Snake. Like the baby snakes of the “opposition”, Anwar was exposed as a stooge for the Yank neocons by his elated foreign masters when the “opposition” had its brief hold of power in gomen. Why should Malaisesians want a traitor in gomen? Even a brief gomen during which the “opposition” very skilfully fcuked itself out of gomen! And when, yet again, the Snake Pharaoh fcuked Khat Siang with his little bit of old zombie limp bihun!
Anwar tried to con Nik Aziz into signing a document of capitulation to the interest of Israel. It was as if Israel was more important than Malaisiesians and the obsession of the Yank neocons to push the interest of Israel should hold sway. Fortunately, Nik Aziz smelled a rat in the form of Anwar and refused to sign. Anwar, as usual, tried to worm his way out of the humiliation of failing at his con job, gave a bunch of his prized Tamil bullocksh*t to save face – only to be arse-fcuked by the leadership of Palestinian organisations for lying in an international show of Anwar’s dishonesty!
Why should anyone want Anwar in power. All else that Anwar can be considered good at is his reminding us not to touch the subject of Malay rights – whatever tf that means. And we are still waiting for him to reveal his pile of evidence against the Memali Monster. If anything is there to his credit, I can only think of his “Nego Nego” dance performed when he hijacked and stirred up demonstrators to risk themselves at the hands of the police for his personal gain.
We have, otherwise, very active party-hopping frogs as the rest of the pond life in Malaisesian politics, another big bunch of arseh*les not worth any decent attention except by our indecent politicians. None of the baby snakes in the filthy pond is worth spitting on, let alone vote for.
As happened both before and after the election PH won, any election where the same old same old tired monkeys and the same old “opposition” mentality persists, Malaisesia would suffer the same old same old fate: the arseh*les of the “opposition” would continue to bicker, bitch, argue with, and backstab each other and destroy the country.
Those mooting a “third force” for Malaisesian politicians aren’t exactly a wonderful lot either – they are all mostly from the same tired old uninteresting bunch. Best way out is certainly to have other faces, fresh faces, other new political parties. And the fresh young should definitely replace the spent useless and boring has-beens.
Those with a bit of decency among our old politicians should just go away and die quietly as a gift for Malaisesia. If the living dead like the Memali Monster and Tokong Khat cannot retire finally, they should be put to sleep for their own good and let Malaisesians rejoice.
The meaning of being genuinely relevant or even the meaning of life for the “opposition” should not be their own self-interest ever. For the DAP it should not be using their Chinese voters, taking the malleable sheep for granted, treat them with patronising contempt, and riding them like donkeys – all which the two dirty tokongs of the Lim Lynasty and its select inner-chamber bunch of opportunitic ccokscukers have done all the long while.
The dirty swindler tokongs took their hitherto loyal and trusting Chinese useful idiots for a nice ride making them lose face – and, luckily, their trust when a good many realised what swindlers the tokongs and the DAP operatives were.
In case the lazy bastard sheep among you think I should provide you with an answer to the ills of either the gomen or the the “opposition”, read carefully I’m saying nothing can be done with the great piles of old shiite that is the gomen and the “opposition”. What we need is new material – even new shiite! Do you want to watch a long boring movie for all your life? Or are you just the typical kiasu Malaisesian who hoard old junk, fill up the house, garden – sneak your treasures into the neighbours’ too? If so, no need to search for the right politicians – you’ve already got them to stuff up your rear ends – and your neighbours’ arses many times over, lucky you! If you missed doing that the last time, there’s all the blessed chance the DAP may yet again raise the zombie Pharaoh from the dead for you to stuff your arses – and for the Lim Lynasty and disciples to stuff themselves up the zombie Pharaoh’s dark tunnel again.
Like the zombie Snake, like Anwar, like Khat Siang, the blessed excrement of Malaisesian politics cannot die a proper dignified death. Just look at the number of times Khat promised to retire, he’s got the Snake Pharaoh’s disease, condemned us with lurking in and out of the zombie realm, Khat is a hungry ghost! You can’t really curse our fcuking dumb among the Chinese for putting up with the Lim Lynasty. But these Chinese definitely need a Chinese “dignity” congress! Decades of being abused, shagged by Khat, the Chinese should not beg for more, continue to make noisy losers of themselves. The lazy habit has got to stop.
Would be below the principles, integrity and dignity of DAP’s Chinese supporters however stupid they may be. When the tokongs sold their ancestors’ coolie souls and crawled to the Snake Pharaoh, that was shameless and too cheaply opportunistic for not too few to see. The DAP won over the thick-skinned who would prostitute themselves to any creature that can “win” – even those like the despicable piece of pig shiite like the corrupt dictator the tokongs have made their career condemning for a good half century. The word was the Snake Pharaoh was “forgiven” – which, of course, the tokongs can do for the corrupt dictator, after all, the tokongs are tokongs.
The tokongs are not skilled politicians, having sucked up to their idol, their idol turned round and bit them as a snake they saved! The Chinese voters asked to be bitten too, or rather, arse-phcuked, and the old Snake Mother of all snakes did exactly that! What a beautiful massive loss of face! It was all well-deserved!
And never mind Najib, he can always be “forgiven”. And why not?, there’s little difference between him and the Snake Pharaoh. If the old zombie can be forgiven after a lifetime of corruption as impressed upon us by his most rabid accuser turned chief arse smoocher Tokong Khat, Najib’s backside can also smell a bed of roses too to Khat Siang. Stand by, DAP, get those lips and tongues ready, there might just be a chance to warm up the DAP treachery and get into bed with Bossku!
Wtf, Malaisesians are so blessed with the garbage politicians from the same old garbage bin! With our democracy, we can choose between garbage, garbage, or garbage!
Btw, I can’t wait to see Najib returns as PM. It could be because that should induce the Snake Pharaoh M for Memali Monster to get a proper stroke. From there, it would be great fun to watch Bossku exact revenge on the Memali Monster’s lot, politics and revenge porn should be great from then on, Alhamdulilah!
as a staunch supporter of DAP, i am sad to say, i will withdraw my support
if their join hands with the traitors
