Michael T. Flynn has resigned as the White House National Security Adviser. His mistake – privately discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with a Russian ambassador during phone calls in December. That was the allegation reported by Washington Post, a powerful mainstream media owned by billionaire and Amazon’s boss – Jeff Bezos.
Jeff Bezos, who has been at war with Donald Trump, bought the Washington Post in 2013 in order to persuade Washington politicians to keep Amazon’s taxes low and help the company avoid antitrust scrutiny. When Trump says he would be tough on Amazon, Bezos uses his media to write nasty and even fake articles about Trump to keep him out of the White House.
Now that Trump has successfully made it to the White House, Bezos has only intensified his blitzkrieg on Trump administration. In a Feb. 9 story, the Washington Post cited unnamed “current and former U.S. officials” who accused Flynn of violating the law in a Dec. 29 telephone conversation with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislvak.
In the final hours before his resignation, Flynn said he “crossed no lines” in his discussion with Russia’s ambassador. He denied ever talked about sanctions and explained it was merely a brief discussion of the 35 Russian diplomats who were being expelled by Obama in retaliation for Moscow’s alleged interference in the 2016 campaign.
As exposed by Daily Caller, Flynn said – “It wasn’t about sanctions. It was about the 35 guys who were thrown out. So that’s what it turned out to be. It was basically, ‘Look, I know this happened. We’ll review everything.’ I never said anything such as, ‘We’re going to review sanctions,’ or anything like that. If I did, believe me, the FBI would be down my throat.”
If what Flynn said was true, President Trump is looking at not only media campaign against his administration, but the worst enemy: American spies against their own country – the Government of the United States. Flynn wasn’t concerned about his resignation but rather the steady stream of leaks to reporters based on classified information.
“In some of these cases, you’re talking about stuff that’s taken off of a classified system and given to a reporter. That’s a crime. You call them leaks. It’s a criminal act.” – said Flynn. However, he didn’t know where the leaks originated – “One has to wonder, ‘Are they coming out of people in the National Security Council? Or intel community? Or State? Or Defence?'”
Before he was entrusted with the post in Trump administration, Flynn was in charge of military intelligence in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was appointed to the highest levels within military intelligence, including as director of intelligence for the U.S. Central Command. Thereafter, he was director of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA).
President Barack Obama, however, fired him as DIA director in 2014 after Flynn delivered testimony before Congress that was at odds with Obama’s contention that radical Islamic terrorism, including ISIS, was not a major threat. Since then, Obama administration officials have openly held low regard for him.
Ever since Trump and Flynn entered the White House, selected reporters have been fed by anonymous sources on information about telephone intercepts conducted by the National Security Agency (NSA), including Trump’s private discussions with heads of state soon after he became president-elect. Clearly, Trump is paying the price for keeping moles left by the previous administration.
Yes, it appears former President Barack Obama has made good on his promise that he will NOT vacate the Oval office if Donald J. Trump is elected the 45th President of the United States. According to Washington Free Beacon, Flynn was merely the first casualty of a secret, months-long campaign by former Obama administration officials to handicap President Trump’s national security apparatus.
Former Obama administration adviser Ben Rhodes was revealed as the architect of a shadow White House specifically tasked to stop Flynn from disclosing the details of the nuclear deal with Iran that had been long hidden by the Obama administration. If publicized, dirty secrets of the Iran deal could spark a scandal that would wipe out whatever left out of Obama’s credibility.
Earlier, New York Post revealed that Obama is working behind the scene against Trump administration – along his 30,000 agitators. Before leaving office, Obama has set up a network of little-known but well-funded leftist nonprofits called “Organizing for Action”. Run by Obama former aides and campaign workers, OFA has raised more than US$40 million.
With more than 250 offices across America, OFA food soldiers could be mobilized upon marching orders from Obama. OFA is also assisted by the Obama Foundation. Unlike other ex-presidents, the 55-year-old Obama is not content to go quietly into the night. He told his OFA troops after the presidential election – “You’re going to see me early next year, I’m still fired up and ready to go.”
Flynn’s ouster was a soft coup engineered by anonymous intelligence community bureaucrats against the POTUS, possibly under instructions of ex-POTUS. While Trump critics are happy to bring down anyone associated with the president, the U.S. intelligence agents are doing as instructed to maintain the status quo – America must be at war with Russia, all the time.
Why FBI eavesdropped on Flynn’s calls with the Russian ambassador and later leaked information on those calls to the press? Fine, FBI can argue that they were monitoring all the Russian calls but to leak it to the Washington Post means a serious felony has been committed. Are FBI and other intelligence agencies starting a coup against the U.S. president for criticizing them?
To be fair, the chaotic, dysfunctional Trump White House is to blame too. And who’s the chief of staff of the White House? Reince Priebus, the Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman hired by Trump as the chief of staff appears to be incompetent and clueless about moles and leaks under his watch? The Washington Post has revealed there were 9 former officials (acting as moles).
On the other hand, Reince Priebus was supposed to be the bridge to the other Republicans who hated Trump but couldn’t defeat him. The perception is most of the Republicans are watching President Trump fighting the battle alone, despite Trump having delivered both the House and Senate for the Republican Party. Armed with popcorn and Coke, they didn’t help at all.
With friends like mainstream media, former President Obama, fellow Democrats and Republicans, various intelligence agencies and whatnot, does America or Trump need enemies like Russia or China? Sure, they can continue to discredit and sabotage Trump administration, but it could backfire and even help the U.S. president secures his second term – if the attacks are excessively done.
