Will Donald Trump emerge “unexpectedly” as the next President of the United States? Perhaps “The Simpsons” has the answer. The Simpsons have a great track record of making predictions that come true years later. The popular American animated sitcom has predicted the future accurately for at least 14-times.
There were predictions about Ebola Virus, Germany winning the FIFA World Cup last year and NSA being government’s agency spying on its own people. But now, there’s something more jaw dropping. In an episode called “Bart to the Future”, the show predicted Donald Trump as being a disastrous U.S. president, as early as 2000.
Today, 15-years after the Simpsons prediction, it seems Donald Trump might make it to the White House after all. Don’t write him off yet, because even the Chinese social media users have started talking about this Trump guy, who has been using China as his favourite punching bag. And the Chinese people are not too amused with what they read.
In his campaign speeches, Mr Donald has consistently blamed China for stealing American jobs and breaking the rules. He blames China for espionage, currency manipulation and even proposes that China be taxed for each bad act they commit. Heck, he even reprimanded the White House for giving Chinese diplomats state dinners, and suggested they should be taken to McDonald’s instead.
So, during the first debate for the Republican candidates, the POTUS wannabe repeated the same issue – Americans losing to Mexico and China. As a non-professional politician, Trump was a shining star because the loose cannon said whatever he wanted without holding back. Clearly, he received the loudest cheers among the list of GOP candidates.
During the Fox News debate Thursday evening, Trump was the only Republican candidate to say he would not rule out a run as an independent candidate. But that wasn’t the most explosive part. The best part started when Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly angered Trump by questioning him over his past treatment of women.
“You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals,” – was what Kelly had to say before all hell breaks loose. Questioning her aggressive interview style, Trump later told CNN – “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes … Blood coming out of her – wherever.”
If this had happened to other candidates, it would be game over, but not to Donald Trump. Instead, an overnight poll conducted for 24 hours after his negative comments about Kelly shows him at the top with 23%, with Senator Ted Cruz second with 13%. Amazingly, 54% of Trump supporters said they would vote for him for president, even if he didn’t win the GOP nomination.
But if you think that was about it, Trump has magically turned many black voters to his camp, if two black women – Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson – are any indicators. Both women who host a YouTube show called “The Viewers View” have produced “Megyn Kelly and that Damn Debate.”
“Here’s the damn deal, Megyn Kelly, or Kelly Megyn, whatever your name is … Maybe you should go back and report news for Sesame Street and have a debate with them … You hit below the belt, Kelly … Leave my man, Donald Trump, the hell alone! If you’ve got something you’re going to tell him, run it by us first!” – both women went ballistic.
“Run it by me first and I’ll let you know if you have permission to come for him! … He’s gonna be the next president of the United States whether you like it or not, Megyn Kelly or Kelly Megyn or whatever your name is, or not” – the pro-Trump women continues. Later, both women appeared on The Hard Line on Newsmax TV.
When host Ed Berliner asked the duo how they fell out of line with the traditional black female supporters of the Democratic Party and Hardaway said, “Well, listen, we have our own minds and we can no longer be spoon-fed. We can pick up our own forks and eat for ourselves. We have our own minds to think for ourselves. Stop believing everything those Democrats tell you”.
So there you have it. Americans have finally taken note of Trump seriously because this so-called clown speaks the truth, unlike full time politicians who spoke with forked tongue. If Fox’s intention was to destroy Trump’s reputation in front of women audience, it didn’t work. In fact, the more bias Trump is being featured, the more popular he becomes.
