Everyone knows that the Emperor is naked, but it takes a naive young boy to stand up and say “the Emperor is wearing no clothes” before everyone else (belatedly) acknowledges the obvious. Donald Trump was playing the role of the naive young boy when he exposed – “The insurance companies are making a fortune because they have control of the politicians.”
The 6 magic words – “They Have Control Of The Politicians” – do much more than merely acknowledge the endemic corruption of the United States (and the entire Western bloc for that matter). This is an acknowledgement of systemic corruption. And this is exactly what makes full-time politicians – Republicans and Democrats – speechless and powerless against Trump.
Because Trump runs his presidential campaign like a reality show, he doesn’t care about political-correct statement simply because he’s not a full-time politician. Therefore, like the naive boy who spoke the truth about the Emperor being naked, Trump revealed the painful truth about insurance companies, or anyone with deep pocket, having control of the U.S. politicians.
In reality, Trump has done an awesome job giving his rivals a run for their money. This is perhaps the first time in the history of American presidential elections where the mainstream media, debate moderators, both houses of Congress, foreign wealthy countries and even the White House are united in throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Donald Trump.
However, like a naive boy, Trump doesn’t know how to beat his opponent Clinton the way a seasoned politician should have done. He keeps whining and bitching about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, not her corrupt practice at Clinton Foundation, which has been receiving various types of bribes from Saudi Arabia’s cash to Nigeria’s land deal.
Clinton’s corruption can be traced back to the Bill Clinton presidency from 1993 to 2001, to Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. Since 2001, the Clinton Foundation has raised a staggering US$2 billion – supposedly for charity – but with tax records revealing only 10% of the money went for programs, with at least 50% going directly to Bill and Hillary Clinton’s pockets.
Now that Trump has pledged to “end government corruption” if he’s elected to the White House, his advisers, provided they exist in the first place, should provide the Republican presidential candidate with the latest jaw-dropping corruption and money laundering scandal to be trumpeted. As a reality star, surely Trump knows how to make an impact of a mind-blowing scandal.
Trump says he wants to ban executive branch officials from lobbying the government for 5 years after they leave the White House – and wants Congress to do the same for members and their staffs. He also wants to expand the definition of “lobbyist” and is calling for a lifetime ban on senior executive branch officials lobbying on behalf of foreign governments.
Obviously, the “lobbyist” includes people like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who has demanded millions of dollars in exchange for favours such as those from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, U.A.E., Algeria, Brunei and even Malaysia. While Saudi has funded 20% of Hillary’s presidential campaign, both Clinton and Obama have benefited from stolen money originated from 1MDB.
Yes, it’s time Donald Trump drops a bombshell – that the world’s biggest white-collar crimes actually involve President Barack Obama and Democrats Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton. Knowing how F.B.I. Director James Comey covered up Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, Trump should not waste the opportunity of linking his enemies with international corruption.
After the U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch announced on July 20, 2016 that the Justice Department filed lawsuits to seize assets that it said were the result of US$3.5 billion that was misappropriated from 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Bhd), there hasn’t been any meaningful progress ever since, probably because the DOJ was told to drag their feet until the presidential election is over.
But the 1MDB lawsuit, already the U.S. largest single action ever brought under the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative, didn’t only corrupt US$3.5 billion of the U.S. financial system, real-estate and Hollywood. The scandal is an international scandal – being investigated by authorities in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Switzerland, Australia, Hong Kong, UK and Luxembourg.
According to the Wall Street Journal, businessman Frank White Jr., has benefited from money stolen from 1MDB, a pet project of PM Najib Razak which turned out to be a “Ponzi Scheme” designed to fleece taxpayers’ money to the tune of US$6 billion. Besides profiting US$10 million embezzled from 1MDB, Mr. White also sold a DuSable unit for US$69 million to 1MDB.
In return for the easy profits, Frank White Jr., founder and CEO of investment firm DuSable Capital Management, used his connection and ultimately escorted Najib’s son, stepson Riza Aziz and Leonardo DiCaprio to the Oval Office where they met President Barack Obama in December 2013. They presented a copy of “The Wolf of Wall Street” – produced using stolen money – to the president.
In the U.S.-DOJ lawsuits, PM Najib was named as “Malaysian Official 1” while DiCaprio was referred to as “Hollywood Actor 1“. Because Mr. White has also raised funds for President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, those stolen money from 1MDB could have flown – either directly or indirectly – to Obama and Clinton.
It is believed that through Mr. White, whose sister is married to a cousin of First Lady Michelle Obama, President Obama was “controlled” and has resulted in the 2014 decision of a historical first visit to Malaysia by a U.S. president in over 50 years. Subsequently, Mr. Obama golfed with the Malaysian prime minister in Hawaii at Christmas time in 2014.
Essentially, Frank White Jr. was bribed to arrange meetings so that corrupt family members of PM Najib Razak could meet President Obama. As a result of the meetings, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were rewarded with “donations” raised by Mr. White himself, which could have been money stolen from Malaysian taxpayers.
Trump could scream that Obama practices “nepotism” by giving special privilege to Frank White Jr., knowing very well the connection with the president’s wife. Therefore, the U.S. president was under 1MDB’s control – foolishly agreeing to a visit to Malaysia and even some round of golf with super-corrupt Najib Razak.
Trump could claim that the American financial system was breached and insulted by the 1MDB “Ponzi Scheme” because Obama and Clinton were blinded by donation, which had turned out to be stolen money. Most American voters do not know Malaysia, let alone its 1MDB scandal. But they definitely know who Leonardo DiCaprio is.
Hence, Trump could tell American voters how DiCaprio, who happens to be Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama supporter, had accepted gifts worth millions of dollars paid with stolen money. Of course, Trump is welcomed to go bombastic about Hillary Clinton taking money from PM Najib, despite the prime minister being investigated by authorities from 8 nations, including the U.S.
To make it more dramatic, Trump can always claim that Obama and Clinton have committed treason for allowing the Government of Malaysia conducts corruption and money laundering to the tune of US$3.5 billion involving Deutsche Bank AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Rothschild Bank AG and BSI Bank Ltd – putting the American financial system at risk.
Trump, who has been calling Hillary the “Crooked Hillary”, should hammer the message to the voters that the 1MDB scandal demonstrates that American national security has been jeopardised because nepotism and corruption practiced by Obama and Clinton means foreigners, such as PM Najib Razak has control of the politicians – including the President of the United States.
