Just thought I want to share this free tool with FinanceTwitter readers. Supposing you want to save on your mobile phone sms or maybe your phone is out of reach (battery flat or out of coverage) but you urgently want to make a sms because you want to open a position to buy stock (what else is more urgent than this?), you can make a FREE sms via Mobik.

Mobik allows you to make sms absolutely free of charge anywhere anytime within this globe. First you need to register your username, password and some other details. Once you’re done you can login and a simple screen consisting of three columns greets you. The main screen in the middle is the most important because it’s your message composer. Since it’s free, the limitation is you’re allowed to send not more than 120 characters (which is sufficient for emergency sms). Remember to input your recipient’s number together with international code or else it will gives you error (I’ve to admit the error message is not user-friendly and you might end up cracking your head figuring what went wrong).

Once done, just hit “Send” but don’t be surprise if you hear a sudden advertisement – that’s the price you need to pay for using something free. For example in the image above the advertisement is from paybymobile – since the ads is only a couple of seconds, just enjoy it. All your outgoing message will be keep on the left-hand navigation screen – you have “inbox”, “sent”, “search” and “trash” folder utilities.

The only problem is sometime it’s hard to connect (during your login time) to their database, it could be due to peak period. You just need to re-try again and again. Also the recipient doesn’t know the sender because it comes attached with, what else, the Mobik advertisement. Your friend will see the sender is from Mobik – so it’s wise to reserve some characters (out of 120) to input your name.

So give it a try – Free things are good things right? Just send sms to your broker telling him to buy or sell your stocks. You can register at the following link: Mobik Registration Site
