Tillerson, the former CEO of Exxon and former president of the Boy Scouts, is perhaps one of very few in the White House who could survive Trump administration. After all, like Donald Trump, Rex Tillerson was the corporate guy who should have no issue clicking with the U.S. president. As long as he keeps his head down and does his jobs, Tillerson should be fine, or so he thought.

But it appears that even Secretary of State Tillerson has run out of patience with his boss whose mouth works faster than his brain. After proven to the world that he’s the U.S. biggest moron by meeting the world’s biggest crook, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, now another person could pretty much certify that Donald Trump was indeed a “moron”.

In an explosive revelation, NBC News exposed how Tillerson, who is 4th in line to the presidency, was on the verge of resigning this summer (July). In a 2-hour long session with Trump’s national security team and Cabinet officials in a secure room at the Pentagon called “The Tank” on July 20, 2017, Mr. Tillerson exploded and openly criticized the president – calling him a “moron”.

The July 20 meeting came a day after a meeting in the White House Situation Room on Afghanistan policy where Trump rattled his national security advisers by suggesting he might fire the top U.S. commander of the war and comparing the decision-making process on troop levels to the renovation of a high-end New York restaurant.

Trump, who was not present at that particular Pentagon meeting when Tillerson went bonkers, however, was aware but is not impressed that his secretary of state called him a “moron”. He has seen the departure of a national security adviser, press secretary, communications director, chief strategist, acting attorney general, FBI director and – as of Friday – a health and human services secretary.

The tensions exploded around the time President Donald Trump delivered a politicized speech in late July to the Boy Scouts of America, an organization Tillerson once led. Tillerson, who was in Texas for his son’s wedding in late July when Trump addressed the Boy Scouts, had threatened not to return to Washington – according to sources revealed by NBC.

Buddies – Rex Tillerson, Mike Pence and James Mattis

It would take 3 heavyweights – Vice President Mike Pence, retired General John Kelly (who would soon be named Trump’s second Chief of Staff), and Defence Secretary James Mattis to “beg Tillerson to stay”, at least until the end of the year. Mr. Pence also reportedly counselled Mr. Tillerson about being respectful of the president in meetings and in public.

Vice President Pence had urged the Secretary of State to sort out any disagreements with the Trump in private instead. But judging by how the U.S. president loves to ramble “publicly”, Tillerson is probably left scratching his head how Pence’s advice could be executed. Since Tillerson took the post in February, Trump has been undermining him.

This weekend alone, tensions between both individuals spilled out into the open once again. On Saturday, Tillerson said the U.S. had reached out to Pyongyang in an attempt to de-escalate tensions over its missile tests and nuclear explosions. But on Sunday, Trump tweeted that Tillerson is “wasting his time” trying to negotiate with North Korea, saying – “Save your energy, Rex, we’ll do what has to be done!”

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson Called President Donald Trump - A Moron

Prior to that, Tillerson and Trump clashed over a series of key foreign policy issues, including a dispute between Qatar and other Persian Gulf states, engineered and plotted by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Tillerson had called on the countries to ease their blockade of Qatar, yet just hours later Trump said the Saudi-led effort was necessary.

In August, Trump was furious with Tillerson over his response to a question about the president’s handling of the racially charged and deadly violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. Trump had said publicly that white nationalists and neo-Nazi sympathizers shared blame for violence with those who came out to protest them. But Tillerson poured cold water, saying – “The president speaks for himself.”

More importantly, Rex Tillerson has clashed with the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, the only person in the White House whom President Trump cannot fire. After the explosive report by NBC News, in a hastily called press conference, Tillerson claimed that he has “never considered leaving” his job and is committed to President Donald Trump’s foreign policy goals.

Rex Tillerson Called Donald Trump A Moron

However, Tillerson did not respond – either admit or deny – whether he had ever called Trump a “moron”, suggesting that he had indeed done so at the Pentagon meeting. He merely said – “I’m not going to deal with petty stuff like that”. When confronted by reporters in Las Vegas, President Trump rubbished the embarrassing revelation as fake news.

Interestingly, in another tweet, Trump urged NBC to apologize for its story. But NBC News anchor Hallie Jackson said on air – “NBC will not be issuing an apology to America as the president is calling for because again … the secretary did not refute directly some of the key points” in the story. Several NBC journalists who reported the story also stood by their piece.

Regardless of how Trump and Tillerson twist and spin the “moron” drama, it’s hard to see how both can work together beyond the year of 2017. A narcissist who cannot be challenged, let alone insulted, Donald Trump is not going to forget about being insulted as a “moron”. The relationship between both individuals is fundamentally broken. And there’s no sign Trump is going to stop undermining Tillerson.

Moral of the story. Never say anything bad in public or private about your boss. it will get to hin ASP.

Tillerson is hardly the loose mouth type…invariably appearing composed, rational and level-headed. So for him to even loose his head to publicly called Trump a moron can only mean one thing – the POTUS is a MORON, period.

Of course these 2 will part ways sooner or later, as the POTUS is such a vain air-head, so full of himself that he absolutely is unable to accept that anyone that wouldn’t sing his praises at ALL time ! Must be very tiring for the poor wife, to say the least.
