After weeks of sleepless nights countless of hours sitting in front of the tube, the Euro 2012 is coming to the end. After Spain trashed France 2-0, there’re four more matches to go before lifes return to normal routine. There’re some surprises from this round of Euro 2012 tournament, of course. People who bet against Greece are still licking their wounds – who would predict that the financial crisis country, Greece, could beat Russia. The Czech’s also surprised some with their 1-0 win over the Poles, not to mention the Swedish fans climaxed when their team beat France 2-0.
There’s many Holland fans but too bad they finished last in Group-B, also known as Group of Death with giants such as Germany, Portugal and Denmark in the same group. Being the finalist in the 2010 World Cup, it was nevertheless a surprise that Holland was down 1-0 by Denmark. So, maybe Holland was lucky after all two years ago to be able to squeeze into the World Cup final. As the champion in Group-D, it would be interesting to see if England can beat Italy tonight, a match expected to be watched by over 20 million people on television.
