While the clueless Malaysian ruling government is still busy figuring ways to stop the citizens from getting “infected” (further) by the powerful technological viruses such as Twitter, Facebook, Blogging, YouTube and whatnot, young chaps are reportedly making up to US$300,000 a year from YouTube alone. So if those Malaysian Government-sponsored students are still jobless despite spending hundreds of thousands of ringgit getting their degrees, maybe they should venture into this area.
According to TubeMogul, a video advertising and analytics platform company that connects advertisers with highly targeted audiences, the annual income for independent YouTube partners can be very rewarding. The revenue from these You-Tubers comes only from banner ads served near video content loaded. The CPM for the banners ads was US$1.50 where YouTube is splitting the revenue 50-50 with partners.

But wait a minute. Obviously they have not view the videos made about Malaysian politicians. I’m sure Chua Soi Lek and V.K. Lingam would score higher views and make more money if they can just add some humors into their videos.
