This is why we see several jobs within the technology and healthcare industries,” said Dr. Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor Chief Economist.

 

Sure, the research shows that a big paycheck isn’t necessarily tied to long-term satisfaction in one’s job. There’re factors such as culture and values, career opportunities, company’s vision and trust in senior leadership. Still, a great paying job is among the leading factors most job seekers are looking for.
