Anticipation is rising, the students are working their hardest and the drive to meet their goals is contagious. When a committed student challenges themselves sincerely to be the best in a class or group, they seek both the knowledge and skill they gain from the experience, as much as they do acknowledgment and validation from their peers. There is one brilliant way to ensure these hard workers get the attention they deserve for their time and investment.

 

A statement piece

If these students are one of the more capable and determined among them, they may be getting a special title with their award, like Valedictorian or Salutatorian. Like myself, these might be a bit confusing, there’s a breakdown in the differences between them here:

Are you struggling to decide the best way to show your school’s admiration and pride in those who excelled in their fields? Nothing that comes to mind that is simple will be as effective as something with a little added imagination. All the late nights to complete their studies, never a day missed or a test failed, no homework eaten by the dog or missed school buses. They deserve something that would “wow” them, right?

Now you’re thinking bigger! Imagine their excitement when they see their faces and names, in big bold graphics, on a poly fabric, or vinyl print that is hanging where all their peers can see.

 

Perhaps it’s graduation coming, or maybe a highly anticipated sporting event for the school’s team, but there are excellent students that deserve a bit of extra support or appreciation. No better way to show that their efforts are seen and applauded than a student recognition banner with their successes displayed for their classmates to see.

 

Personalize your design

With a little creativity, you can make the most effective piece to communicate your school’s pride in these stand-up students by combining sharp fonts, bright colors, and even real pictures for a completely custom banner. Hung at parks, or sports fields, even in local restaurants or shopping centers, you can stir up a buzz for graduation, honor ceremonies, or other award events taking place at the school. You can communicate with local store owners and public grounds management to mount banners all over your city. Rain or shine, the banner will be just fine!

 

Not going anywhere

Something else to consider is that these printed banners can be on materials that will resist most weather, and they are typically made with special grommets so they can be hung securely. Affix them to walls, hang from rafters, however you want to display them you can, and know that they won’t come falling down because tape peeled off or a push-pin came loose. Wind and sun, day or night, your banner will show your message no matter what. After graduation, honor roll, or whatever award ceremony they are partaking in, the faculty or school board can offer the students and their families these prints to keep. We all keep our favorite old posters, sports tickets, or, for the older ones of us, newspaper clippings.
