We had said this before and we’ll repeat again – Coronavirus cases will breach the 1,000 figure very soon and more people will die. And the blood is on backdoor Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s hands. The statistics and data don’t lie. In fact, due to his lust for power, Muhyiddin is responsible for both second wave (Sheraton Move) and third wave (Sabah Coup) of the pandemic.

As a result of “Sheraton Move”, he successfully brought down his own Pakatan Harapan government in March. And as a result of “Sabah Coup”, he successfully captured the Borneo state of Sabah. Make no mistake. If the current third wave of Covid-19 can be brought under control in a couple of months, his backdoor government will launch a new coup again against other opposition states.

Exactly how did the Muhyiddin government justify for a nationwide lockdown on March 18 when the daily cases spiked to 190 cases, but argued that the same lockdown was not required despite a spike of 691 cases on Oct 6? Simple – his Perikatan Nasional government got panicked back in March and chose the nuclear option – they pressed the “full lockdown” button.

In a way, the panic was a blessing in disguise. It was pure luck. The backdoor government managed to flatten the Coronavirus curve, but it came with a price – the economy was severely crippled. That was why PM Muhyiddin refused to shut down the country the same way he did on March 18, even after his “Sabah Coup” had triggered the third wave – a bigger and deadlier wave.

The success in containing the second wave had emboldened Muhyiddin and his power-hungry gang (Azmin Ali and Hamzah Zainudin) to launch a second coup against then-Sabah Chief Minister Shafie Apdal. Crooked Musa Aman’s 46 corruption and money laundering charges were suddenly dropped by Muhyiddin’s handpicked Attorney General Idrus Harun on June 8.

By July 29, former Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman was no longer sick as he had pretended previously. As healthy as an ox, Musa declared that he had obtained a simple majority to form a new government in Sabah. What do you expect Shafie Apdal to do? Do you expect him to sit on his hands and let the crook, backed by the federal government, seize power.

Shafie Abdal - Parti Warisan Sabah

Shafie retaliated and foiled Muhyiddin’s second coup when he decisively advised Sabah Governor to exercise his authority as per Article 21(2) of the Sabah State Constitution to dissolve the Legislative Assembly. However, during the election campaign from Sept 12 until polling day on Sept 26, all hell broke loose as social distancing was not fully enforced or practiced.

To make matters worse, politicians, especially the powerful ministers in the Muhyiddin administration became arrogant and complacent due to the low number of Covid-19 cases. They took photographs in crowds without face masks. There was absolutely no action taken against ministers, campaign volunteers or supporters who breached the health SOP (standard operating procedure).

The Ministry of Health did not mandate 14-day quarantine for Sabah arrivals in the Peninsular. In fact, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah justified that 14-day quarantine was not mandatory for Sabah arrivals because according to his logic, not all arrivals returned from red zones. That was how clusters of new Covid-19 cases spread like wildfire from Sabah to nationwide.

Musa Aman – Former Sabah Chief Minister - Corruption

Therefore, it was both hilarious and pathetic to read how Musa Aman wrote a lengthy letter to cleanse himself of any responsibility for the spike of Coronavirus in the country. A crook will always be a crook. He conveniently blamed Shafie-led Warisan Plus coalition for “not allowing” him to overthrow the state government, which eventually led to the snap polls in the Borneo state.

Like crooked Najib Razak, who still blames everyone but himself even after he was sentenced to 12 years in prison for stealing money, Musa Aman too has the same crooked mindset. Musa somehow shares a very similar personality as Donald Trump, who blames China for every single problem in the U.S. despite the president’s own incompetence and mismanagement.

Musa must have had smoked some really bad grass when he blamed Shafie in his half-baked letter, demanding him to explain to the people of Sabah why his state government resisted a stay of the state election during the Coronavirus pandemic. It was like blaming an underage girl for resisting a rape attempt during a house break-in. Can you see how ridiculous and silly was Musa’s argument?

Muhyiddin Yassin and Hadi Awang

Joining Musa was PAS Islamist party president Hadi Awang. The extremist Hadi too criticised Shafie for calling a snap state election in Sabah. Like Musa, Hadi also shamelessly hides behind Coronavirus, using the pandemic as an excuse to blame the Opposition for the current spike of cases. Perhaps Hadi has forgotten how excited he was at the opportunity to participate the Sabah election.

Perhaps the disgraced Hadi Awang should explain to the Muslims why his minion, Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali, is yet to be charged despite having breached the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 for skipping 14-day mandatory quarantine. Is Khairuddin untouchable because he’s the so-called “HUD-HUD” bird featured in the Koran / Quran?

Not only crooked Musa Aman and extremist Hadi Awang should stop insulting people’s intelligence, they should actually stop making a fool of themselves. PM Muhyiddin has done an excellent job winning public anger over the skyrocketing Coronavirus infections. The people knew the cases began to multiply after politicians and voters returned from the state of Sabah.

Muhyiddin Yassin - Speech Seated

In fact, the power-hungry premier himself has admitted that thre Sabah elections had contributed to the surge in Covid-19 cases. The very fact that none of the opposition politicians have been slapped with fines or charged in court for flouting procedures upon returning from Sabah means the backdoor government is the biggest culprit or the offender.

Surprisingly, the clearest and biggest proof that Muhyiddin regime is responsible for creating the third wave of contagion came from none other than Najib himself. During a lengthy Facebook rambling a week ago (Oct 14), the former prime minister accidentally spilled the beans while justifying UMNO’s decision to consider retracting its support for Perikatan Nasional.

Najib claimed that his party, UMNO, has been made a scapegoat for the increasing number of failures of the backdoor government. He also argued that despite UMNO’s disagreement over certain issues, Muhyiddin’s party – PPBM (Bersatu) – has repeatedly ignored its ally UMNO. One of the issues that Najib said was Muhyiddin’s fault was the Sabah state election.

1MDB Scandal - Muhyiddin Clashes With Najib

In his babbling stunt, Mr Najib exposed – “In terms of controlling Covid-19, the National Security Council (NSC) declined to implement the proposal from the health minister, who is from UMNO, to carry out mandatory quarantine for those coming from Sabah prior to the state election. If these mistakes did not occur, there would be no third wave in Malaysia. And now, UMNO is being blamed for the third wave.”

Obviously, Najib was referring to UMNO Health Minister Dr Adham Baba, who left a trail of humiliation when he advised people to drink warm water to “flush” virus down to the stomach so that the digestive acids will kill the Coronavirus. He said – “The virus will go down (the oesophagus) and when it reaches the stomach which has acids, the virus dies. That’s how we eliminate the virus.”

Coming from the horse’s mouth, Najib Razak has revealed how the National Security Council, whose chairman is PM Muhyiddin himself, had refused to quarantine anyone coming back from Sabah. More importantly, Najib has admitted that the current third wave was a direct result of the prime minister’s mistake – not the opposition – due to probably complacence, arrogance and lust for power.
